Maren is a money app for a Bitcoin-backed borrowing position, not a trading terminal with a send button taped on.
You deposit Bitcoin, draw MUSD against it, and pay anyone by @handle. Before you sign, Maren shows the address that handle resolves to, your ratio, your capacity, and your distance to liquidation. When something settles, you get an on-chain receipt: the network, the gas, a link to the explorer. Nothing softer.
The beta is testnet and pre-audit, and we keep that status on the page. “Gasless” means Maren pays the Bitcoin fee when the relayer is taking the work. It does not mean the fee vanished. If Bitcoin falls far enough, a position can still be liquidated. That is the nature of a collateralised loan, and no design removes it.
The product question was whether someone could use the value of their Bitcoin without selling it. The beta is the evidence we have so far.

Type a @handle and Maren resolves it to a real address before you sign, and shows you that address. No copy-pasting long strings, no paying the wrong person.
Honest receipts
Every action ends in a receipt you can check.
When something settles, Maren shows an on-chain receipt: the network, the gas you paid in BTC, and a link to the explorer. It reports what actually happened, nothing more.
